Our History

JIERCHEN was established in February 1985 in Banqiao, New Taipei City, at a time when Taiwan’s precision-manufacturing sector was still forming its export identity. Founder and General Manager John Tsai built the company around a simple standard: every mockup and prototype should be dimensionally accurate enough to validate a real design decision, not just look the part.

Four decades later, JIERCHEN is run by its second generation of family leadership, still under the direction of GM John Tsai, and has grown from a domestic CNC job shop into a full-service prototyping partner for product-development teams in more than ten countries. The company holds ISO 9001 certification (No. 10319/0, AFNOR Certification) and verifies finished parts on a Keyence coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to confirm conformance with ISO 2768-f tolerances.

Clients span medical devices, robotics, automotive and EV components, consumer electronics, and AI wearables — industries where a prototype has to behave like the production part, not just resemble it.

From Concept to Scale

JIERCHEN supports every stage of hardware development with a matched process and lead time, so a design can move from validation to production volume without changing suppliers.

Why Product Teams Choose JIERCHEN

Genuine precision

Parts are CMM-verified to ±0.01mm against ISO 2768-f, so what you approve is what ships.

Fast turnaround

SLA prototypes in 1–3 days and CNC parts in 3–7 days keep design iterations moving.

Cost discipline

In-house CNC plus a vetted subcontractor network for casting, finishing, and mold production keeps unit cost realistic at every volume.

One-stop service

Design feedback, machining, finishing, and shipping are coordinated under a single ISO 9001 quality system.

Industries We Serve

JIERCHEN prototypes and low-volume production parts for medical devices, robotics, automotive and EV systems, consumer electronics, and AI wearables — sectors where dimensional accuracy and material behavior both matter.

Case Study

UMass Amherst — Robotics Research Prototype

JIERCHEN CNC-machined a dynamic walking-leg mechanism used as an authorized research and demonstration prototype for a robotics project at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), illustrating the tolerance and repeatability required for functional robotics hardware rather than static display models.
